concept: let blue airfoce & firepower compete with red's
masses of simple troopers. Very low income per base makes force rebuidling strategies more important.
settings suggestion: block battleships, destroyers and DFA in units building setup
known biases: This map showed to be red biased in the first version, then after rebalancing I took too many red away. Be sure to use the most actual version where I tried to solve the balancing issue.
Southern Vietnam Jungle (weebot mod)
changes to normal weewar version: this first fully playable casamod map for weebot features the new range of
terrains (hills, roads, jungle, shallow water, town, bunker) and units (sniper, cruiser, strikefighter) with the
modded specifications (detailed specification site will be up soon) for conventional units.
the concept is like in the original map version (see above) masses of troopers vs. fewer expensive units, with an even
lower income (many bases are towns that produce only 50%). Jungle helps Vietcong troopers to survive US air raids, and
hills in combination with jungle opens only a few passages for heavy vehicles through the mountains in the northeast. Shallow
water prevents bigger ships form going up the mekong delta and shelling of some bases near the coast. The airfield in the very
south should become an aircraft carrier when this unit is implemented.
