Deep Sea Terrain Ingame Example

 


An example of deep sea as well as shallow water tiles on this example. These tiles could make your ships movement and terrain using tactics (shoals unaccessible by big boats, deep sea tiles favoring subs and their waves slowing down lighter vessels) more diverse . I took my own deep and shallow water tiles to create this example after I tested the darker deep sea tiles, the borders between deep and other water segments seemed to appear with a too big optical contrast.

    What for: Deep water tiles as addition to normal or shallow water could be used to add some tactical options to sea fights. Subs would prefer to fight from deep sea and speedboats and hovercrafts could be slowed on deep sea with its high waves. Related topics:
