Welcome to my little Weewar Fan Site
October 5th, 2009
weewar.com is a great, turn-based strategic browser game I have enjoyed playing for many months. Since I always thought there could be some detail here or there that might improve the playing experience, I made this amateur website some time ago. I updated and redesigned the site in September of 2009 and, hell yeah, I know it looks really old-school. The aim of this site is to:
a) Offer space for my and other user's ideas without spamming the official Weewar Forums with too many images
b) Encourage other players of Weewar to think about new ideas / artwork I could host for them on this site
c) Offer some kind of collection of ideas, both old and new, that usually keep being reinvented because they were drowned in the forums under tons of new threads (I'd like to increase their lifespan)
d) Summed up, this could hopefully be a kind of inspiration for the developers and, I admit, this is also lobbying on my part ;-)
Please keep in mind that this site is unofficial and is not officially related, supported, or endorsed in any way with the persons in charge/developers of weewar.com. I know the game developers have the difficult task of uniting the casual players with regular and almost professional players to make it all work and keep both groups satisfied and last, but not least, do that within an affordable business project, which is not an easy task at all. So I understand some ideas on this site are better than others and much of this stuff won´t ever be implemented. Please also keep in mind that although there is a rating system for the various ideas presented here, it's still just a collection of suggestions and nothing else. It's not ment to be a contest. The charts were just ment to indicate some quality display in suggestions and taste / popularity within the community. Please contact me if you would like to contribute some grafix or ideas, help me with my bad english you found on the site, or want to have your idea quoted here. Thank you, Casaubon

Update January 2nd, 2010
Since a few weeks I am happy to offer Kajah my humble support to create a fully playable and non-commercial mod for Weewar. Kajah's user-customable mod is called Weebot and initially was an ambitious bot project, that grew large and became a clientbased indipendent version of its own. The files could be available here on this site when Weebot is ready, so check back for news from time to time :) While Kajah does all the sophisticated programming work I modify artworks and xml files and tune the specifications for my casamod version of weebot. If you want to read about my progress check the changelog.

Finally weebot got it's own blog with a download section. And here is the link for the casamod specification page.
